Live Journal, I am glad you are still here. I don't visit you as often as I should, yet always assume you'll stick around. It's similar to some family members, I suppose.
It's Saturday evening, I am sitting in the recliner, trying my best not to get sucked into a Game of Thrones marathon. Sterling and his two friends are in the back room playing DND or Pathfinder or w/e it is.
We went to see Captain America today. It was enjoyable, especially since we haven't been to the theatre in a while. Inside the theatre is a comic book store and they were busy since it was national Tabletop Day (my husband informs me). Our friend Matt was there, he is a big gamer and was there for some events. I met Matt through Sterling, and he was always one of Sterling's friends I enjoyed talking to. I think Matt liked me more than Sterling actually. We haven't seen him in a few years, he looked good. We chatted about how we both got our degree and were both working on our graduate degree. It was a brief conversation, but him and I texted a bit after that. Hopefully we can all meet up soon. I don't like a lot of people, so it's good to hang on to the friendships I do have.
I got a hair color and cut last week and cannot stand that she gave me bangs and layers when I did NOT ask for them, in addition to cutting three inches off!!
There are other things I would like to write about, but the keyboard on my phone is irritating me, and my neck hurts from staring at my phone all evening. I guess I will go get lost in GoT after all......
